Moody Street Circus

Moody Street Circus is a private family-run recreational circus arts and belly dance studio led by multigenerational circus artists. The studio is located at 397 Moody Street, 2nd floor, in Waltham, Massachusetts.

The studio offers classes in circus arts, including aerial work, and belly dance to students ages 15 and above. The classes are designed to reflect the studio's mission of teaching mindful and purposeful movements powered by full-body intelligence technique.

The studio's co-founders, Alexandre Sacha Pavlata and Melinda Melina Pavlata, bring a lifetime of skills, artistry, strength, and performance experience to the studio. They are joined by their daughter, aerial Coach Zoë Isadora, in sharing their skills and family legacy with students.

The studio's approach to teaching emphasizes the importance of building strength, slowing down in practice, and integrating instructor feedback. Students are encouraged to be open to repeating important foundational skills and to growing their body awareness in the air.

Moody Street Circus is open by appointment only, and students can contact the studio at moodystreetcircus@icloud.com to schedule a class. The studio's location in Waltham, Massachusetts, makes it a unique cultural destination in the area.
